Norman Parker was born December 29, 1928, to Sheal and Lillian (Barney) Parker in Port Angeles, WA. He passed away at home in Salem, OR on Oct. 9, 2019, after several months of declining health. He grew up on Forks, WA, on the Quillayute Prairie, spending a lot of time fishing and hunting.
He had many jobs in his lifetime from logging to heavy equipment operator, building roads for the forestry to teaching a class on heavy equipment maintenance at the junior college in Yakima. He was proceeded in death by his parents, an older brother who died in infancy, his sister, Sheala (Parker) Anderson and son-in-law Steve Wakefield. He is survived by daughter Donita and son Bradley (Sherry) Parker, 7 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. There will be no service.
