Richard Leroy Breeden was born April 23, 1944, in Spokane, WA. He was raised in Quilcene and was known as “little Dickie Brown.” After graduation from Quilcene HS he served in the Army. In 1971 he married Margaret (Klagge) Bingham. Graduated Chemeketa Community college 1973. Moved from the Quilcene area to the Kitsap Peninsula siding homes. Worked in many occupations including well drilling, logging, and carpentry.
After moving to Forks he started work at Leppell’s Flower shop, helping around the shop and doing Twilight” tours. He was a people person. He passed away on the morning of Sept. 9, 2019, in his home. He is survived by daughter Glenda and John Aldana, sons Robert (Bob) and Heather Bingham, Richard and Denise Bingham, Johnny and Cheyenne Breeden; grandkids Nichole, Nathan, Ryan and Marie Bingham, Katie and Robby McLean, Charim and Anibal Cruz; sisters Liz Long, Jude Kortegard and Pat Bailey, his other family at the flower shop and of course his beloved lab Angel. He will be missed. A gathering will be announced at a later date.
