Sharon Rose Prissel passed away on April 20, 2019, in Port Angeles, she was 74 years old. She was born on January 5, 1945, to Coyd and Gunda (Ringen) Harrigan.
Sharon grew up in Wisconsin and moved to Forks in 1966. On May 28, 1966, she married Arden Prissel, in Port Angeles, he preceded her in death on March 3, 1991.
Sharon was a homemaker; she enjoyed reading and writing and loved just being a wife, mom, and grandma.
Sharon is survived by her daughter Audrey (Brad) Lato of Sequim, son Steve (Kim) Prissel of Forks; grandchildren Josh Smith of Seattle, Amanda Smith of Port Angeles, Wyatt Lato of Sequim, Jessica Lato of Ellensburg and Darin (Alyssa) Prissel of Sequim; great-grandchildren Bella Smith, Weston and Oliver Prissel. She is also survived by her sister Janet Wolf of Eau Claire, WI and numerous nieces and nephews in Forks, Port Angeles, and Wisconsin.
Sharon was also preceded in death by her sister Zinnia Lato.
Services will be held on Saturday, May 4, 2019, at noon, at St. Anne Catholic Church, 511 5th Ave., Forks. Burial will follow at the Forks Cemetery following Mass with Father Vinner Raj Simeon as officiant.
