Shirley Johnson Pedersen was born May 8, 1938, in Seattle, to Anthony and Burma Johnson. She spent most of her life living in the Forks area. She married William Pedersen in November 1956, their only daughter Ada was born in 1957. She passed on April 11, in Forks, from pancreatic cancer.

Shirley loved baking and canning and she loved tending to her flowers. She worked at the Loop, Frenchie’s and Hang-up Taverns.

She was preceded in death by her husband Bill, her mother and father and a brother and sister.

Shirley is survived by her daughter Ada Pedersen, grandchildren Mike (Toni) Pedersen and Brittany (Dakota) Case, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, and many extended family members.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, April 29, 2017, at 1 p.m. at the Forks Assembly of God Church, 81 Huckleberry Lane, Forks.
