October 13, 1943 – August 30, 2023

For the last 40 years, Steve lived in Forks raising his children, working in the medical field, spoiling his dogs and loving his wife, Tracy. Forks was his home and his favorite place to be. Prior to his life here, Steve served in the U.S. Army Special Forces and as a combat medic, retiring after 20 years including tours in Vietnam and a station in Korea.

He was honored to have been a graduate of the U.S. Army Physician Assistants Program inaugural class, and proud of his service and those he served with. Steve respected and appreciated the nature and wildlife around him, enjoyed many hobbies over the years, and could build and fix anything. His family and friends are incredibly grateful for the humor, kindness, strength and love he always gave.
