Holiday happenings are heating up. This weekend will offer the Twinkle Light Parade, community tree lighting, and the annual Festival of Trees. Some businesses will be open before and after the parade. If you take in the tree lighting and need something to warm you up …just across Sol Duc Way, Ginger’s Closet will be offering some cups of chili, hot chocolate, and coffee. Stop in and check them out.

There is still time to get your parade applications in.

Today a big crane is unloading car charging equipment onto the old Woodland Hotel lot at the corner of Mainstreet and Calawah Way. It is funny to think almost 100 years ago, in 1925, the Woodland had been built as the most modern accommodations Forks had ever seen…hot and cold running water! Now current modern technology will be taking up that space.
