Dear Editor,
On behalf of the Forks Community Food Bank board of directors, I would like to extend a very heartfelt “thank you” to everyone who helped make the fundraiser for the Food Bank on May 14th at the Ki’tla Roundhouse such a wonderful and fun event!
We are excited to announce that over 240 people came out to participate in the celebration that raised $7,728 that will be used to purchase food to be given to those who are in need. The success can be directly attributed to those who made the decision to show their support for the Food Bank in these most difficult times. I would like to specifically thank the Richwine Road Band. This event would not have happened without their vision. We also had very strong and much-needed support from The Forks Lions Club which donated their profits to the Food Bank, KW Olympic – Keller Williams Realty who provided beverages and advertising, Plaza Jalisco who provided food, and the food bank volunteers for set up – take down organization and to all the businesses and individuals that donated items for the silent auction. Most importantly, we would like to thank the Forks community for their continued support
We sincerely hope that we have not left anyone off of our acknowledgments. This is such a group effort and we are very thankful to all who helped to make it happen.
Thank you to all who came out to enjoy this fun and successful event. We hope we will see you in the future for another fun-filled day and the opportunity to spend the day together.
Sincerely and respectfully,
Forks Community Food Bank
