City Council
Forks City Council met Monday, April 24, and did some housekeeping regarding moving forward with the state RCO grant for the new Spartan Stadium restrooms. The council approved a form in addition to the previous resolution. It reminds the City that while the grant is being used for the stadium by the school, the City is still responsible to the state for all of the grant obligations.
The Mayor also shared that once again the Wastewater Treatment Plant received an award and letter from the Department of Ecology for Outstanding performance for 2022. Out of 300 systems in the state, the Forks plant is one of 109 doing things right. The city is also looking at a lease of property at the Campbell pit area for a cell tower. The subject was tabled until the next council meeting.
The All School Class reunion was fun …photos next week.
And in breaking news …who the heck took the sign from Ginger’s Closet (Forks Clothing Bank)?
