Congratulations and Thanks! Spartan Volleyball

Recap from State From Spartan Volleyball Coach Jenn LeDuke

“At State, we played Kalama and lost in 3. Battled against them in the first set losing 21-25. Kadie Wood received the sportsmanship award for this match. We then faced Napavine. Won the first set 25-21, and lost the next 3 – 22-25 14-25 22-25. Reagan Dunn received the sportsmanship award for this match. The girls played amazingly. We will miss our seniors Morgan Rule, Maren McCracken, Kadie Wood, and Kyra Neel. It was definitely a rollercoaster of emotions for the girls.”

“The way they all worked together as a team, never got down and controlled their emotions. “All the things”. Forks has not been to state since 2003 when we coaches played in high school. Going to state as a player was amazing but taking a team to state as a coach is the best. Getting to watch them experience walking in that dome, the sound of the court under your feet, and playing at the dome is priceless. I am so proud of all of them! Spartans Blue and Gold Blood.”

“Thank you to all our fans and parents!! And Kim Weissenfels for the amazing pictures and for capturing this moment for us.”

“I am so proud of all my girls that worked hard all season long. I enjoyed coaching them all.”

A Thank You

On behalf of the Fall 2022 Forks High School volleyball team. We wanted to take a moment to thank all the parents, family, and community for their never-ending support both on and off the court.

Thank you to all the various community members who donated to the volleyball booster or supported our fundraisers. A special thanks to Johnni Harrelson from Backwood Designs for always ensuring the girls had the best-personalized game day attire and finding the sponsors to purchase the gear for Johnni to personalize. Thank you Shelly Castellano for making sure the girls were well-fed during team dinners.

The team had a great year. They were able to advance onto districts and win their way to state at the Sundome in Yakima all with support from our amazing community.

Sponsors include: Backwood Designs, Corey Morris Trucking, Boucher Trucking, Subway, Forks Outfitters, and all the parents and grandparents who made sure the details were covered for the girls’ season to happen.
