Elroy, the Elks Drug Awareness Mascot, assisted members of the Forks Elks Lodge at the FHS Homecoming game on Oct. 12, distributing T-shirts and literature about drugs. A grant from the National Elks Organization covered the cost of Spartan T-shirts with the new national drug awareness logo on the back.

In addition to the T-shirts, many Spartan fans also received drug awareness bracelets; 500 were given out!

The Forks Elks Lodge invites the community to take a visible stand against drug use by celebrating Red Ribbon Week Oct. 23-Oct. 31. Red Ribbon week encourages parents, educators, business owners and others in the community to promote drug-free lifestyles.
