On Tuesday, July 30, 2024, the High School practice field buzzed with excitement as the Forks Elks Lodge #2524 hosted its annual soccer shoot. With 48 enthusiastic young participants lined up across five divisions, the event promised fierce competition and fun moments. As each aspiring soccer star took their turn, the stakes were high and the atmosphere electric, setting the stage for an ultimate display of skill!

The winners in each group were –

U8 (under 8) Boys Oscar Hernandez, U8 Girls Hannah Rasmussen; U10 Boys Jr. Martma Martez, U10 Girls Aaliyah Millett; U12 Boys Howard Hoskins, U12 Girls Kylie Ensastegiu; U14 Boys Brian Armas, U14 Girls Tessa Holt; U16 Boys and Girls none.

A special thanks goes out to Keith Weekes and the WEYL Soccer League for their generous support, which allowed the Forks Elks Lodge #2524 to host the soccer shoot during their games. Their collaboration ensured the event’s success, creating an atmosphere where young athletes could shine and enjoy the sport they love.
