Children ages 8-17 can come take a free airplane ride on Saturday, June 9 (weather permitting), from 10 a.m.-2 p.m., this activity is sponsored by EAA Chapter 430 at Port Angeles, Fairchild International Airport.
The Young Eagles program has dedicated nearly 25 years to giving youth their first free ride in an airplane. The sole mission is to introduce and inspire kids in the world of aviation.
A parent or guardian must be present and complete the free registration. Look for signs and tent near the parking lot also see the Facebook page at facebook.com/eaa430youngeagles.
The young Eagle Program has flown more than 2 million kids in the past 25 years.
