PORT ANGELES – Adult coed recreation opportunities for soccer, volleyball and basketball get underway in September, all hosted by Peninsula College.
The Peninsula Soccer League features matches on Sundays from Sept. 1 through November.
The Peninsula Volleyball League has two divisions with games on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from mid-September through December.
The fee to participate in the adult soccer and volleyball leagues is $50 per person. Players can register as part of a team at https://peninsulacollege.prestosports.com/Events/AdultSportsLeagues. Those wanting to get on a team for soccer or volleyball are encouraged to contact Jake Hughes (soccer) at jahughes@pencol.edu or Rick Ross (volleyball) at rross@pencol.edu. Every effort will be made to get players attached to teams.
Basketball players can participate in a drop-in league called Peninsula Noon Hoops during the noon hour on Mondays and Fridays from Sept. 9 through December. A formal league begins in January with games on Sundays. Noon Hoops is a drop-in event, but participants need to be registered, also at $50 for the fall session.
Adult recreation sports are limited to persons age 16 and over.
