Spartan 10,000 Buckets Club

Basketball Coach Rick Gooding reports the 10,000 Buckets Club is now open to all entering 6th – 12th Grade within the Quillayute Valley School District. The Club will run from June 1 – July 31.

The purpose of this club is to recognize Spartans who are willing to work hard to improve their basketball skills as well as to get players shooting more often and with a purpose.

HERE IS HOW IT WORKS

1. Use an age-appropriate Shot Club Sheet

2. Count and record your shots every time you make a bucket, and you have to make it for it to be a bucket!

3. Shooting workouts can be done by yourself or with a group. This can be done anytime, anywhere (home, open gym, anywhere there is a 10-foot hoop)

4. Have sheet signed by a Spartan Basketball Player or coach each Month and submitted to them.

Everyone and anyone can participate, below are the different levels:

6th Grade, 7th-8th Grade, and 9th-12th Grade – all levels – 25 percent free throws, 25 percent outside the lane, 25 percent inside the lane, 25 percent three-pointer.

10,000 Bucket Club Members will get a Spartan 10,000 Bucket Club Shirt and recognized at a Spartan Home Game!
